Default Rancho 4" Sport Lift Rebate

So... is anyone planning on getting the Rancho 4" Sport Lift with Racho's top-of-the-line RS9000XL shocks during this years $500 rebate promotion?

I'm seriously considering this option for my 2010 Unlimited Sahara. I was kinda waiting for my tires to wear out so I can justify replacing the factory 18" rims with wider 17" ones to save me $$$ on 35" ers. But, at 35K miles, the original Bridgestones still look and ride good. I just would hate for the tires to go after the rebate expires on June 30th and not have the $500 rebate in my pocket. (Note: it seems Rancho run this promotion every year from March 1st to June 30th.)

Anyway, Quadratec (just one of the many supporters of this forum) lists the black (reds are pricier) kits for $1,142.99. With the $500 rebate the effective price drops to $642.99. That's $50 cheaper than the Sport Lift alone!

http://www.quadratec.com/products/16031_3001.htm

Should I pull the trigger now or holdout and see if my tires last another year AND Rancho repeats the rebate next year?

I like Rancho and they don't get the reputation they deserve. The shocks are awesome from what I hear!

being that you live in florida and won't be seeing a whole lot of rocks, this is a great deal and a really nice kit that i think you will enjoy a lot. i would highly recommend it.

Default Sugar Sand

Thanks for the comments guys. Yea, not many rocks in Florida other than coquina. I know I will lose some clearance by dropping the front suspension arms, but this is my DD so ride and handling are just as important as stump jumping and log hopping. The clearance loss will be more than made up for with larger tires.

Other than swamps, sugar sand (think of a dry quick sand) is the biggest challenge to 4 wheeling in central Florida. Taller and wider tires for sugar sand is the main reason I want the lift.

Default Bang Bang

Well, yesterday I pulled the trigger. This afternoon shipping was confirmed.

This is what I have coming from my Rancho supplier:

RS6507B - 4" Sport Lift
Pair of RS999329 - RS9000XL adjustable front shocks
Pair of RS999330 - RS9000XL adjustable rear shocks
RS6756B - Front quick disconnect end links (for non-Rubicon)
RS5407 - Steering stabilizer (2007 - 2010)
RS5510 - Steering stabilizer bracket (2007 - 2010)

Total damage delivered to my door after rebate will be under $690.

AMAZING!

Thanks to all sharing your Jeep experiences.

Default rancho

I LOVE my rancho 4" sport lift!

I went with this same promotion last year, found the kit for 1000, got 500 off, total was 500 STEAL!

It looks great and rides better! I would recommend this kit to anyone!

Purchased this lift a couple weeks ago for my 2012. Now its just sitting in my garage waiting for me to save up for rims and tires

But yea, from what I've read its a great kit for the price after rebate. No rocks here in Louisiana either. Here's the thread that convinced me on the kit. Ive read it a couple times already

Default It's here

Everything arrived Friday (Fedx shipping was free!). Only problem was they sent the wrong front shocks. (999239 instead of 999329, Lexdysia strikes every 5 minutes.) The ones they sent were for a TJ with 2.5" lift. There goes their six sigma rating.
