Rampage Rear Sport Rack questions

Rampage Rear Sport Rack questions
I'm looking at this for the back of my new 2 DR JK and have some questions for folks who might already own it.
Rack link:
http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=53883
1. It says it's for the 4 door. Will if fit fine in a 2 door with the rear seat removed?
2. It has a locking feature, how secure is it?
3. Can someone reach into/under it when the top is off?
4. How does it compare to the Tuffy rear security deck in terms of weight and build quality?
5. Would you recommend it?
Thanks for your help in advance.

If you're looking for something to secure gear and valubles the Tuffy rear security deck is the way to go. It has panels to contain the cargo area. The upper deck panel is hinged and has an actual keyed lock. (IMO) The only draw back to the Tuffy is, if you have power doorlocks. With the top off anyone can access the LOCKED area through the tailgate.
As for the Rampage rack its purpose is to increase storage. You can reach underneath it with the top off. The locking feature they describe is a LATCH not an actual LOCK. The rack itself is hinged (like the Tuffy), has a gas strut but it is only to access the gear stored underneath without opening the tail gate.
I'm not sure about your two door question but as far as quality Tuffy (IMO) is the way to go. Hope this helps.

Lock the doors with the windows down then reach in and try the power lock switch. Doesn't do anything. You can still--obviously--unlock the doors themselves manually, but the tailgate might as well be welded shut.
This means the under-floor area in the rear is secure. Would also make the Tuffy cover secure.

Thanks!!
Thanks to you both for your responses. Very helpful information and much appreciated!! Looks like I'll have to go with the Tuffy. I need security back there.

Just a heads up here. I bought the Rampage sidesteps for the kids to get in and out of the Jeep, from Quadratec. I returned them because the quality of their product was terrible. I will not buy another Rampage product. That being said, I know nothing about sport racks, just be careful.

That is incorrect, at least on my 2009. If the doors are locked with the key fob, the power lock switches are disabled. I've actually wondered about this and tried it.

I don't think so. That would be the same as not having the tailgate powered. Using the keyfob tells the Jeep you are leaving the premises and want it locked.

I own one and I love it. I had to modify the way it's installed because some of the hardware sucks. I had already drilled holes in my roll cage for another rack that I use to own so it was easy for me to nut and bolt the roll cage brackets on. It's a handy storage rack to have. Unfortunately I have to get rid of mine because of the roll cage I just bought

Anyone with the Rampage Interior Sport Rack, how easy is it to remove it completely? I want to make sure that it's pretty easy and quick to do in case I need the full capacity of my trunk for taller items. Thanks.
