Rampage front bumper
I am really interested in buying this bumper. http://www.quadratec.com/products/12121_100_07.htm
Anyone have information on this bumper? Is it well made, is it strong, does it rust easy or not? How is the paint finish? I can't reall yfind anything here on the forums about it.
thanks in advance

I love the bumper. They were selling for less than that on Ebay but I guess now that the "big guys" are selling it prices go up. I guess the price of metal skyrocketing also plays a part in price.
One thing that concerned me is that there is a place that holds water and debri. However, the metal is so thick I haven't noticed a problem at all. I was going to drill drainage holes but haven't gotten around to it.
I also bought the lights. They were missing a part and Rampage sent it immediately. I installed them but haven't connected them up yet.
As said in a prior post...it is heavy. The bumper and my winch together are definately over 200 lbs. I installed a 2.5 inch BB in the front and left the rear spacers out. The front is slightly lower now than the back and I like the look better than the stock JK rake where the front is alot lower than the back, with the bumper and winch it was obviously worse. The above pic is before the 2.5 spacer in the front and body lift.
The corner of the bumper had paint chipped off when I got it. About the size of a dime, it wasn't really noticable but I was going to "touch it up" I haven't yet and it's not rusting yet.
