Default rake

Will the TF 2.5 BB correct the rake( level out the JK)? Or will I need additional spacing? If so what is suggested by those who have this setup?

The TF is 2.5 Front and BACK so it will not level out your JK, the FT 2" is 2" in the front and 1.5 in the rear, RE 2" is 1.75 in the rear and 2.5 in the front if I remember correctly. Good Luck

why do you want to level it out? rake is there for a reason. a vehicle squats some in the back when going down the road so it is level when in motion. if you raise the front, it will look like you lowered the back when in motion.

Mine still had a slight rake after installing the Tera BB and then a more pronounced rake after adding the LoD front bumper and winch. However, now that I've added the LoD rear bumper with the tire carrier, trail rack, and 2 Jerry cans, the Jeep sits almost perfectly level, if not a little shorter in the rear. I'm sure that loading up the back with a bunch of gear will cause the rear to slump even more. So, my advice would be to hold off on extra spacers until you have completed your build and you know exactly how much weight you will average on your front and rear (between aftermarket products and gear). If I had added a spacer to level out the rake before I added my rear bumper, I would have had to remove it.

The rake isn't really that bad to begin with. Here's a shot of my JK with the Tera 2.5 and stock bumpers:

thanks everyone for the info. Ya'lls experienced based opinions are priceless. Yes I guess the rake is there for a reason. I allways thought it was for better gas mileage........since you get better mileage going down hill.

Who cares? i cant see it then.

Mine was very pronounced on my 2dr. It still has some after the RE 2" lift (which is 3/4" higher in the front)

Doojer has great points, wait to be sure what you are going to do. If i add bumpers/racks in the future, i will need to adjust mine accordingly, but for now, it sets more level and i like it the way it is. Why waste the cash if you dont need to?
