Default Radials vs bias?

Can anyone explain the difference between the two and if a bias would do any good on the road?

I had bias ply swampers on my TJ. They did not even last a year. Reason was because they over heated on the freeway and threw the tread right off. If you use your jeep as a DD then stick to radials.

The difference between radial tires and bias ply tires are all in the belt construction. You want radial for on road use.

Most of the mud tires are radials and perform excellent off road.

I'm kind of bias, I like radials.
