Does anyone have an idea for a gasket of some sort or some kind of coating i can put on them?
Why not take them off and throw them in your center console?

Sweet idea. Thanks!

I used electrical heat shrink tubing...works great, they don't free swing or rattle and you can't see it.

I took 13/16" sprinkler tubing and cut them approx. 3/16" and put them on either side of the shackle bolt. It keeps them nice and solid.

With the stereo cranked up and the subs pounding everything rattles on the out side anyway...let it rattle and piss off the guy in the kia next to you at the light since it is at the same level as his head is...lol

Thanks all for such a wide range of input! For now I wrapped the bolt in electrical tape and made some gaskets with some old rubber roofing material I had lying around.

I just wrapped my ring and the bolt in electrical tape last night as well. Works so much quieter.
