Call me crazy but it appears on the Landrunner Jeep, and it has a "safari Rack" pamphlet on the door....so maybe, just call me crazy, but I believe it is the "New" Landrunner Safari Rack!

I like the look of the tubular material. I wonder if you could fit the hardtop on or off with it installed, i would hope so.

either way , one of the best ive seen.

I thought it was a Landrunner rack too. But I didn't
find it on their website.

The link that Robar included has a totally different rack
clearly by Landrunner. I already had these pics too
from Project JK.

And finally, there is a logo on the rack, just above
the driver's door that I can't make out.

I thought someone might have a link to the manufacturer.

Right now there are a lot of manufacturers that have showed things at SEMA, but dont have them listed on their site or in production or plans for production. Someone will come out with a quality production rack, but just like all the other things we have to wait for new designs.

I spoke to the founder of Landrunner.
This is there rack but will not be produced.

They're coming out with a rack similar to one
on their website for the JK.

I think I saw that on the LRV The lunar roving vehicle (LRV) transported two astronauts on exploration traverses on the Moon during the Apollo 15, 16, and 17 missions. The LRV carried roof rack, tools, scientific equipment, communications gear, and lunar samples. JDJ

I am disappointed to hear they will not be producing that rack. It is the best looking one I have seen yet. I have e-mailed Top Five racks, and they will have one. However, It didn't sound like it would be available until spring. I need a rack to carry my canoe, but since the water will be frozen here in Minnesota for the next few months, I have time to wait and see what comes out.
