Default question on bent rear axle

bent the rear pass side axle. i have been told its an outer bend. does that mean its is bent at the wheel flange? also what all is involved to replace the axle such as bearings, seals, etc.... there is a slight wobble to the wheel when spining but not that bad. and yes i am going to upgrade to the chromollys.

If the tube is bent then it needs to go to an axle shop so they can press out the bent tube and press the new one in.

If only the axle is damaged then it is a simple fix. If the axle tube is damaged then that is different. If you purchase the axles from David at Northridge he will press the ABS rings and bearings on for you.

A write-up for the install can be found here.

If you end up needing a new axle, I have my old rear axle sitting in the garage and I'm down in Fort Myers. It's got about 15,000 miles, from a JK X with 3.73 gears. I replaced them with Rubicon Axles, only looking for about $400 for it.
