Default Question about Procal and new tires/shift points

My understanding is when I changed my tires not only did my mileage and speedometer change but my shift points are off now. If I get a Procal and calibrate my speedo for the tire change will that put the shift points back to their proper place? Thanks...

And just in case you'd like two responses....Yes. I run the Procal myself.
