Gas mileage isn't really a big concern for me. I'm more concerned about power for towing with the lift and tires.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks the whole "rising gas prices" thing is over rated

OK, you will be losing more torque of the engine being spent to push the lifted JK over a stock one, while using more gas too. So yes, you will lose some torque and HP by installing the lift alone for the above reasons.. I hope this helps.
