Question for the 37" tire club
Setup: 2010 Unlimited Rubicon Manual
Question: I'm looking into a 4.5 AEV lift, 37" tires, Dyna Pro 44 front and a gear ratio of 5.13 - from members who have this or a similar setup, what's the drive like? Will I feel too under powered? Can the JK handle the 37's as a DD.
I understand its a jeep and I'm not looking for a fast sports car (I have a Ford F250 for towing), I just want to make sure the jeep is still a fun rig to drive.
Thanks in advance for the advise and your experiences,

My Jeep is my only vehicle. 4" Teraflex lift, 37's, 6sp, with 4.88 gears.
I'm on the shorter side of normal at 5'8" so sometimes it's a bit of a pain getting in. I have to extra careful in winter because of ice on the ground. But that's the price to be paid. Other than that it's fine as a DD.

I've had 37s, 5.13s and a Currie 4" lift for around a year now with no problems. Power seems about the same after AEV Procal adjustments for gearing and increased tire size.

thanks for the replies - I don't think the power on the rubi 32" tires is too bad and if the regear can allow me to keep most of the power and feel, shouldn't be too bad.
did yall do anything to the front axle?

I'm running 37's and stock 4.10's on a Rubi, rides fine, obviously not as peppy as a stock Rubi. It doesn't matter all that much, the Jeep was slow to begin with, a few MPH isn't gonna make or break me.
