They gave me this whole spill how the regular jeep isnt a rubicon and cannot handle 32s! I could not believe the words coming out of this guys mouth. He said by putting oversized tires on my jeep I'm risking excessive wear to me entire suspension and drivetrain. I laughed out loud and told him he lost his talking priviliges. Since when are 32's considered oversized tires??? The solution on my service ticket said " get an aftermarket programmer" I asked if that would void my warranty and the lady next to him said not if the programmer only does tire size. She said the computer had a tattle tale system on it and if it shows any engine or transmission config change that my warranty would be voided.
What are they talking about my X with the S-package came with 32's.

This is what I did. I second this quote.

The dealer is retarded "DURP" comes to mind. They can only play with stock options on their computer you need to do it yourself

What are the 4 sizes the dealer can flash then (for an X)? Or is it less than 4?
I think the mountain also comes with 32" bfg's as well as the rubicon.

My X came with 32s from the factory. 255/75/17 = 32.05"

I went from 255/75/17 to 285/75/16 so basically from 32s to 33s and the speedo difference is only 1.5mph when I'm doing 60 so I'm not too worried about a correction until I go bigger. Do a Google search for tire size calculator and there are plenty that will give you the speedo correction for different size tires. This is the one I use

So then it stands to reason any X could have 32" rubi mud terrains... And for those who keep saying buy the procal and skip the dealer, I have to pay $100 for them to activate my fog lights now anyway and they can do the tire size at the same time no extra money - thereby saving $150 for the procal.

If you buy the barebones barebones, they came with the smaller street tires the 225's now the new sports come with the 32 inch street tires.

Okay just making sure I was doing this right so I am really traveling 242 miles every two weeks which I fill up 16 gallons every other week so my MPG is truly 15 mpg city even with 32's and 3.21 gears and my driving style and elevation.

Same here. My 09X came with 32's (255/75/17). So far that is the only tire size that I have see on a stock X here in Alb. Haven't seen any 225's.

The Procal can turn the Fogs on as daytime running lights, not sure if it will activate if you just installed, but maybe it could work.. $100 to turn these on is BS.
