Yes, 35s is the way to go! They will fit perfectly with that lift and look really cool! I used 1.5" spacers 'till I could afford to buy a matching spare.

OK so I ordered my lift. now know the size i need. but the one question i have is the spacer size. every thing on my jeep is stock. i never get the time but now i am makeing time. so from looking i need the 5x5" spacers to use my stock rims. or the did i read wrong and need the 5x4.5" ones.

5 x 5 is the bolt pattern for your 2009! Spacers or rims must have that number. Get spacers 1.5" thick; make sure they are hub-concentric, meaning they are CNC machined to fit properly on the hubs so as not to cause a wobble.

If you're buying tires anyway, I'd definitely recommend 35s as well. I just went from a 2" BB to a 3.5" coil spring lift on my '09 Unlimited. I've got 33" Terra Grapplers on there and they look good enough for me to keep until they wear enough to warrant new tires, but 35s will definitely be the way I go next time!

i got a 2.5 in lift and my stock 255/75/17 were to small. so i got 35/12.50/17. so your 2.5 in lift with 265 are gonna be small and look a little funny. just pay a lil more a go with 35. your jeep will look tougher with bigger tires.

I know people with 37's on stock wheels, spacers and 3.5 in lift. You'll be good with 35's and 1.5 spidertrax.

I'm running 39.5's on a 4" lift with plenty of clearance and think they still seem a bit small. I.d go with 37s for sure.
