The tube of the drive shaft isn't what I would be worried about... What joints did they use? 1310? 1350? Yukon gears can fail too, they aren't immune.

D44 came with 1310 and D60 came with 1350, we decided to just go with 1310 since it was a factory t case.

how much is a rubicon take off t case worth?

About $1000 depending on availability in your area.

Last dumb question for tonight, are all rubicon t cases geared the same?

i have a 2012, wasn't there something about '12 having a t case difference?

You could also get a rubi crawler and get another 2.72 out of your stock t case

A rubicrawler is basically an add-on to your transfer case that reduces the gear ratio by half. It only works for 2003 - 2011 automatics.

Yes, all Rubi cases are geared the same (4:1). The difference is in 2012 and up automatic transmission rubi's. They have the same gearing, but different input shafts.

Oh that sucks. I wheeled with a guy in MOAB that had one and I was impressed. His was a 2010 auto.
