Default Purejeep shackle mounts

on a Mopar Off Road bumper? I want to cut the crush cans off and lose the plastic covers and replace the tow hooks with the D-ring mounts. Anyone see any reason why this wouldn't work?

Nope, it's been done by one of the members on here. I'll see if I can find the thread.

No luck finding it. I actually had the thread saved until a few days ago when I was cleaning up my suscriptions I used to have to front but sold it. It can and has been done though , and the guy had pics and everything. Just cut the crush can off and bolt them up. Do a search, you may have better luck than me.

Looks so much better. Just curious, what did you use to fill in the holes where the plastic caps were mounted?

Thanks...
For now, I just pluged them with some of those plastic tree looking plugs.
My goal is to shorten the bumper, 2- 1/2" off each side, weld up all the holes and re-powder coat it

This is what they look like
