Default pulsing while backing up hills??

I tried searching for this but my phone won't pull up any results. Anybody have a pulsing when backing up hills or backing up a trailer?

Don't know if it matters but the jeep has a 2.5" budget boost and 285/75r17 toyo m/T's.

It's probably your hill assist which prevents you from rolling in the opposite direction the transmission is engaged in. I get it when cracking into my inclined driveway. Every time.

My 2011 does the same thing. I thought it had something to do with the diff trying to lock up but not sure. It's done this from day one.

I have never noticed any type of pulsing. I have backed up both with empty and full trailes including my small boat trailer. I have a uphil slightly driveway and have not noticed when backing up.
I do agree the hill assist does cause a pain when trying to back up but I tend to know that and wait the few seconds for it to release.
Hope this helps.

Well I'm glad it's not just me. Must be a jeep thing.
