Default pulled over for no license plate light ? PSC rear bumper tire carrier relocation PIC

So i know before i got the bumper there was a light in the stock location but not sure how it works with this bumper , from my understanding PSC didn't have a relocation light ? I also didn't know it was a law , thats the only reason i was pulled over. Obviously the cop was bored and had nothing better to do but still i don't want this happening again

The truth is , the Leo wasn't bored, but in fact a fake jeep cruiser owner. Dead set on closeting his better instincts to buy the original live axle off road machine.

Alas, all he has is pulling over unsuspecting jeep owners to see all his rig is undoubtedly missing.

I have a friend who is a cop. He swears that every drug dealer in the country must remove their license plate light.

Chaz, when you wire it in you can use the existing brake light wires in the tail gate and then tap the right tail light wire (white/purple) for the license plate light. That's what I did with mine anyway. I'm also in SRQ, I'll keep an eye out for you.

First I've ever heard of a "license plate light law." Not a DOT requirement last I looked.

Looking at the back of his JK, I can say he likely didn't get pulled over for not having a license plate light. He got pulled over for the tinted tail lights and all the other things on his Jeep that made him fit into the profile of a young punk that is likely up to no good and the cop used the excuse of the plate bulb to pull him over. He got pulled over for fitting a profile.

Fix the bulb, he gets pulled over for tinted tail lights, fix the lights, the cop finds some other excuse. Cops can find any reason to pull you over if they decide you fit into a certain profile and want to pull you over.
