Default PSC Brawler Rear Bumper LED lights

I'm installing the PSC back up LED lights but the lights do not appear to stay very well in the boot socket, anyone else have problems with these?

This is really a bad design, no clip to retain the lens? No instructions to install them, how are they supposed to be retained? Feels like I have one in but afraid it may jar loose.

This is the bumper, lights just don't feel like they lock in, tried twisting, little thumb action pressing all around the lens, I just hope they don't fall out driving down the road. Would be nice to have a retaining ring to go around the edge to add security.

Mine have been in for about 10 months now and haven't moved. I'm not impressed with them at all. I wish I knew of some replacements that would actually put out some light!

I've been running them for a year and a half and they have never moved. I think you'll be fine.

Thanks for the input guess i will ride around a bit and keep an eye on them. Next step I have to get a couple more estimates to have it powder coated. 1st estimate I got on Saturday was $185.00, I think that is just way to high as there really isn't a whole lot of prep work involved. I have a couple other places to check out tomorrow, hoping to find a place that will do for 100-120. I also need to here back from PSC because they sent me a bumper without the shackle tabs that I had purchased, I'm either going to have them send me the one I ordered or try and negotiate another deal.

Shackle tabs would be a deal breaker for me. I paid 385 for the powder coating on mine. That was for the front and rear bumper, tire carrier, brawler bar, and lower front skid.

14Sport sounds like you got a great deal on powder coat, I got another estimate today for $175, I guess the PC costs more in Hampton Roads VA. PSC is shipping me the correct bumper overnight they said but I don't have a tracking number so hoping they are true. I figured out the LED lights just needed a little force to push them into the socket, wish they would have come with some directions as I spent over an hour trying to get them seated. So I have a temporary bumper installed and will probably just hold on to it until I get the new one returned from powder coating. I just hope the holes that I drilled will line up with the other bumper.
