FOr a 2012 it doesnt matter. See the chart below. The recommended gears for a 2012 on 35s is the same regardless if its standard or auto.

Thanks. That helps. I have an auto '12 JKUR that will be getting lift/tires at some point in the future and hate seeing the tach at 80mph...waaaay over geared for the stock sized tires.
