Project Trinity
Hey there! So I finally bought a jeep, and I picked up the '12 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and couldn't be more please with the purchase. I've never been an off-roader, always have wanted too, but I was limited to a Scion xB for my first car as a teenager. So I have decided to finally start.
My Jeep is named Trinity, and I won't delve too much into the story of why but it's my niece's name. So I decided to call my project, Project Trinity since it seemed to make sense. I wanted to make a thread to chronicle the mod's I'll do to her as I replace the stock parts. Didn't see anything in the Sticky against it, so I'll give it a shot.\
I'm open to any suggestions on parts, as I'm not too knowledgeable about most of this stuff. I spend most of my time with my family friend at a 4x4 shop here in town trying to pick up some stuff now.
I picked up Trinity 3 weeks ago today, and I'm just about to hit 2500 miles with her, having 7 off the lot. As you can tell I love driving this Jeep, and have taken her to Tahoe for mine and my girlfriends trip for New Years. Have done some moderate off-roading, but nothing serious until I reinforce the roll cage some more. Already caused some damage to her steering pump after spinning some donuts in some soft dirt, but I'll chalk that up as lesson learned and I'm happy I got the Extended Warranty. But onto the point of this thread.
As of now I have put in:
1/3/12
1. PIAA Xtreme White 4000k Bulbs
2. FlowMaster Muffler
1/9/12
3. 2x Warn Dual Beam Lights on the A-Pillars
Tomorrow I get a new set of stuff in:
-Pilot LED Tail Lights
-Body Armor Quad Hoop Bumper
-2x Warn Dual Beam Lights for the new bumper
-afe Stage 2 Air Intake System
I'm also installing a 3/2" Lift Kit+Shocks tomorrow. I wanted to level her out, I hate the dip, and also wanted a slight lift. Plan on changing it out for a 4" Teraflex kit later when I put on the 35"s when these 33"s wear out.
More to come within the following weeks, along with pictures as I take them. Take care, safe driving!

Congrats on the new jeep. If you paid extra for the extended warranty you probably should have saved your money. Lifts and big tires tend to void those. Enjoy building it up.

An update on the project.
This is when I got her:
After finally getting her back from Extreme Off-Road, with the following mods:
4x Warn Dual Beam lights
Body Armor bumper
Warn 9.5ti Thermometric winch
48" Hi Lift Extreme jack
3"/2" lift to level it out
Afe stage 2 air intake
Removed fender flares and wheel wells on front
Flowmastet muffler
Pilot LED Tail Lights
More to come, with better pictures instead of this iPhone.
