Problems turning after 2.5" lift installed - HELP!!
I just installed a Quadratech 2.5" lift kit on the front end of my 2014 JK.
Just springs, bumpstops and shocks on the front end.
I let it down off the jacks stands only to find that I cannot turn the steering wheel completely with the jeep fully on the ground.
When it's up on the jack stands I can turn fully left and fully right.
If I let it down off of the jacks with the wheels straight I can turn fully right and then back to straight but not to the left.
If I let it down with the wheels left I can return to straight but not turn right.
If I let it down with the wheels right I can return to straight but not turn left.
Not sure what's going on but I need some help.
I can't get it out of the garage to finish the back end until I can get this worked out.

It's definitely the sway bar links.
With the jeep in the air they are basically at a 45 degree angle.
I can't seem to keep them from turning forward when I lower the jeep.
They are basically resting on the tie rod

Unbolt the links. Rotate the swaybar back up to level with the frame. Then bolt the links back up. (guessing it happened just because the shocks were removed when you jacked it up, but you kept the links attached?)
This sometimes happens to people on the trail after moving to longer shocks. You were lucky that it happened when it did. You could also consider a set of disconnects.

Problem solved
My issue really ended up being that I reconnected the sway bar while the Jeep was up on the jacks. There was no way to keep the bar from dropping and the links from going forward that way.
I had to disconnect the links, lower the Jeep and then reconnect them. All is well now.
Thanks for the help.
