I know this is beating the death horse but I am at my wits end with this issue. I read the planman write up and followed it with no results. This is what I have going on my 2011 JKUR:

I have a 3.25 inch rough country lift with 2 inch budget boost lift on it. I have on the front end:

Am I measuring the caster in the right position?
What should the caster be on for my size of lift?

I do have 2inch spacers and 35 inch kumho Road Venture on a stock rim. Tires were just balanced. I just changed the ball joints to synergy ball joints. I had a nasty shimmy before I did the ball joints, c gussets, spacers and synergy front end.

So you have almost 5" of lift, why so much ?

Stock driveshafts ?

Good luck trying to find a decent balance between caster and pinion up front.

You can gauge caster knowing pinion. Measure off the pinion flange or one of the two flat circles on each side of the differential.
Stock is around +2* (caster 4*)

5" is hard to work around without cutting and relocating CA mounts/custom suspension.

You should build around the tire size. This means removing the spacers, some minor trimming to make it work at a lower height. 2" is more than enough with a 35" tire.

At 5.5" of lift you are going to have a hard time getting enough caster to avoid the flightily steering feel without doing a caster corrected axle.
Are you still running the drop pitman arm? You may have ruined the steering box. If you are running a drop pitman arm put the factory one back on with the drag link flip
Did you pull the control arms and check for worn bushings?
Have you done an alignment and made sure your toe in was correct?

Are you still running the drop pitman arm? No, I am currently running the stock pitman arm

Did you pull the control arms and check for worn bushings? Yes, I replaced both joints on the control arms

Have you done an alignment and made sure your toe in was correct? Yes, the alignment was just recently done and the jeep has been sitting in my garage ever since.

So you have almost 5" of lift, why so much ? My older son bought me the 2 inch spacers as a present. I couldn't turn it down but I think I will remove it.

Stock driveshafts ? Yes I still have the stock driveshafts.

Are you running a drop bracket for the track bar or is that just a HD bracket? No that is the Synergy Jeep JK Front Track Bar Relocation Bracket, raises the trackbar and reduces the body roll.

What is your daily driver a jaguar? I wish, lol! No this is my daily driver. I drive 22 miles to work roundtrip.

So in essence the suggestion would be to take down the budget lift and recheck the caster? Thank you all for taking the time to answer my questions. It is greatly appreciated.
