Default Pro Comp wheels

I'm in the market for wheels and I've been doing my research. I've avoided Pro Comp because they had a crappy reputation back in my TJ days (10 years ago.)

I notice a lot of folks run their wheels. Has Pro Comp redeemed itself? Are their wheels really that good now?

I've had great luck with mine. They balanced well, the finish is pretty tough, I do NOT like the fact that they are lugcentric and not hubcentric. I just pay attention to how I tighten the wheel nuts to make sure the wheel sits properly.

I used to feel the same way but now I have 2 sets...one on my Ram and one on my JK. They are holding up well. If your gonna get them scratched it's worth saving the $$$.

I love my 7089's. I get tons of complements and I have had the same wheels on two different JK's for about a total of 40k miles. Just got a set of Duratracs mounted last week and they run great.

I got mine through Bustabizz at 4wd. Great guys to deal with. I got my stuff shipped to the american side of the border and drove over to get it. I got in a jam during declaration coming back and another employee at 4wd (bustabizz was on the phone) was very quick to fax a receipt to the crossing. Saved my ass big time. Apparently you shouldnt throw out the box with the packing slip on it because it wont fit in the jeep.
