My local 4x4 shop says they install tons of the stage 1's and have had no complaints except slight rear drive shaft vibration. You may have to consider buying a different drive shaft. Any lift 4'' and above puts the stock shafts at a steeper angle which could lead to premature u-joint or cv-joint failure.

I am considering that lift too but won't do it until I can afford at least the rear shaft . Right now I am runnng a 2.5 BB with 33's. Also thinking about the BDS 2 inch body lift and going with 35" tires. Click image for larger version

Folks that have automatic tranny's have been tearing off the cv boot on the front shaft after lifts because it changes the shaft angle. I guess it is not a prob with standards. Go to a good local 4x4 shop and talk to them. Not one that wants to sell you a 3000.00 long arm kit. If you explain to them how you offroad and what you want from a lift, they will select the proper equipment for you. Some lifts can void the factory warrenty too so do some research.

Pro Comp Stage 1 4" kit only gives you 3" of lift. Not enough for 37's. I called Pro Comp and complained about the fact it only gave 3 " of lift. They are aware of the issue and sent me front springs that are true 4" and I bought coil spacers to bring up the rear to match.

Your gonna need differant hi clearance fenders and trim the pinch seams if you want to run 37's with the Pro Comp kit.
