Pro-Comp SHocks

I replaced the right rear MX6 a few months ago because it had been leaking. I think it failed because the top of the shock walked off the bushing and was rattling around. A few weeks ago I installed some "dogbone eliminators" that replace the dogbone upper mount with a bolt and also surround the bushing on either side to prevent the shock sliding off the bushing. Very happy with the result.
I've seen this issue on many different vehicles that use the dogbone shock mounts. It's just a crappy design.
BTW, the product I used was from Zone Offroad and meant for a TJ. I widened the mounting holes a bit to work. The JKS ones will work also, but they're twice the price.
