Price for American made
#11
I buy American when I can... sometimes I buy foreign... yes it's more expensive because our work force demands a high wage. Would you want to work for less if it would make products cheaper for the American consumer? I don't think I would want to... it could affect my ability to pay my bills. If we don't support these businesses then we will just pay for the unemployment benefits of those they let go.

If you don't like seeing how expensive American-made products are, then start voting against policies and politicians that discourage manufacturing. Fuel prices, EPA & CARB compliance, Obamacare, unions, and lawyers are all conspiring to end all American manufacturing.
I will always buy American-made products over their foreign alternatives. And I will always fight government meddling in the free-market economy. The higher cost of American products is the least of my concerns when it comes to deciding which parts to buy; it's better to have one or two quality American-made parts than a Jeep totally blinged out with a full load of foreign crap.

While cars and parts can be made anywhere, they can only be fixed or modified locally and we live in a society who lost touch with the machines we depend on. Teach your kids to fix stuff and they will always have a job.
