You guys rock!
By putting the 44 mag's in the freezer the sleeves will temporarily shrink by a few thousands of an inch allowing for easier install. This may or may not be needed but recommended due to the variation of axle tube deformation from the welding of the factory parts on the outside of your axle tube.

Some recommendations on catching the shavings are before drilling any holes, we have specialty tools at the shop, but a good way for the home installer to do this:

Tie a 3+ foot string/wire to a clean rag.
With a flashlight, inspect to see if any debris is in axle tube, if so remove.
With a long dowl (broom handle) push the clean rag to the end of your axle tubes all the way against your inner seals.
Put some grease on the end of your drill bits before drilling holes.
Drill the required holes holes.
Deburr drilled holes.
Pull on string to remove rag.

Some other tips before removing the rag are:
Carefully lower one end of your axle two inches or so.
On the lowered end, spray a genorous amount of brakeclean through the inner most hole on the lowered side and allow to drain out of axle end.
Lift lowered side of axle back to level
Lower other side of axle two inches or so.
On the lowered end, spray a genorous amount of brakeclean through the inner most hole on the lowered side and allow to drain out of axle end.
Then pull on string/wire to remove rag.

Pulling out the carrier and/or replacing the seal is not necessary for proper install, but would not hurt if you wanted to do so.

Sleeving has been around a long time, they all provide a percentage of additional strength, some prefer no seal like Logan's version which are less expensive, other companies probably have equal strength to their version.

Logan's also has great customer service, glad to answer any questions, etc.

I like my Logan's! As I have looked into extra seals there are arguments for and against them. The Dana axles are designed with a dust boot on the outside but other contaminants can enter the axle up to the inner seal. Adding seals at the outer end lets in less contaminants but due to the nature of the mechanics will not seal completely and some contaminants would enter the tubes. The EVO sleeves would allow much fewer contaminants to enter than the Logan sleeves. However, they would also prevent any contaminants that do enter from escaping and being washed out. The Logan sleeves allow more contaminants in but by the same logic do not prevent the contaminants from leaving or being washed out. Whose sleeves are better, EVO or Logan? I think it's a toss up.
