Default Preparing my JKU for 37"/38" Tires

My 35's will be here soon, so I want to start preparing my JKU to run 37" or 38" tires. People seem to be getting 50,000+ miles out of their Toyo Open Country's, so that should give me plenty of time. I'd like to run my Dana 44's as long as possible to save money, so I was curious if anyone here has sleeved the axles, added C gussets, and regeared and if that worked.

What else should be done?

Truss and heavy duty ball joints, hydro assist steering, heavy duty drag link and tie rod. Plus all the normal clearance issues like pinch seems, flat fenders, approx 3.5" backspace wheels, and stubby front bumper.

Love my 37" Toyo's! 18k miles on them and they still look new.

What the above post states is pretty much everything I've read though. Should get you off to a very nice start.

regear if you choose so, maybe a new locker. but what i've done so far for 37s is, heavy duty mounts, all of them. hd ball joints, artec truss, c gussets, and lca skids. also would add rcv's to the list if budget allows.

For me so far I've done sleeves, gussets, ball joints, 4 rear arms, trimmed, cut fenders, flashpaq, now working on steering and brakes (cuz clearly those rake last priority)
In addition to what has been mentioned consider softer brake pads and SS lines.

Why would you do a HD drag link if you're doing hydro assist?

I guess you wouldn't, lol! I have the draglink because I'm still working up to hydro assist, but if you get hydro first then maybe the draglink isn't necessary.
