if anyone is interested in going this route -

i just ordered one from these guys - they have a minimum order so it can take some time, or you can pay 30 more for the same regulator and by-pass the minimum order amount....ill just wait.

this is the 2 stage (dual gauge) 5-175psi adjustable regulator, with gauge protector boots.

UNIWELD R1363 CO2 REGULATOR (5-175 PSIG) UPC 12311 NEW

order the above, add your own quick disconnect, hose and c02 bottle & youre good to go.

got my regulator today - exchange my tanks (got empty ones at harbor freight for 20 bucks),
gonna had a handle/protector ($15 bux) and im into this for less than 100 bucks, even less if you consider i had the tanks sitting around collecting dust (the oldest one was free).

How does the handle mount to the tank?

confirmed w/ my local airgas dealer yesterday that the tank refill/exchange on a 5lb bottle is 11 bucks and change,
10lb bottle is 25 and change (cheaper to have two 5's then one 10lb) go figure.

IF the bottle is (being exchanged) is out of static test (date older than 5yrs) then theres a $20 fee charged during the exchange. a NEW 10lb bottle would be 127 bucks....and they wouldnt exchange TWO 5s for a 10lb-er.

How much CFMs do u need for air tools?
Don't waste your money if you want to run air tools most guns need 5 cfm min. I saw this on display at a show. And I could tell just by the sound of it. It won't do the job.
