Default Possible lift options......

Is it possible to do a 2" "spacer" lift with shocks, and then do 3" springs as well? That would total about 5" if I'm not mistaken. Obviously adj. track bars, etc. would need to be used, but can both types of lift styles be combined? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Most 3in springs give you 4in and alot of 4in spings give you 5in . Go with a 4in spring and be done with it. You can always add an inch spacer to a lift if you develope sag from winches . bumpers etc. I see no reason to add a 2in spacer to a 3in lift when there are better routes to go.

you can I did it on my old Cherokee. 4.5 RE lift and 2 inch spacers worked well. however you only need 4inches of lift to fit 37s. so I agree with mkjeep

It's really more of a cost issue than anything else at this point. I want to get the amount of lift I want to do so that I can get 37's in it down the road. I was checking to see if it was feasible, and what kind of probs are associated with doing it this way.
