Default Possible to have shocks that are too long?

Like the title says.

Long story sort of short.

I have a 2 dr. Rubi. Stock height. Added every skid plate I could get my hands on thinking I will just do that, and call it a day. Well, duh! I lost about 1/2-3/4" of height due to the weight, and a little lost clearance from the skids themselves.
So, I have decided to do the 1-3/4" daystar puck lift. I am also adding bilstein series 5100 shocks so I don't lose any extension, and I am not all that crazy about the shock extensions. I have already ordered all this, and it is on it's way. So it's kind of late. Not to mention we are going on the Maine Mtns. Jamboree at the end of the month, so I am running out of time.

Basically, when ordering the shocks, i used quadratec's shock advisor, andthey came up with these shocks, so I gave it a green light thinking the more articulation thebetter. Now, i am getting worried. These shocks are listed as being good for 2-3.5" of lift. I am only gaining about 1-1.25" of lift after making up for the skidplates. My question is...

With a longer shock, is it possible to overextend the brakelines, etc. or even pop out the coil spring!? Should I not disconnect my front swaybar and let that limit it? Is a shock that is a little long even going to fit? will it be unstable/unsafe around town andon the highway?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, as I am getting more and more worried as time goes by. I DO NOT want to take a perfectly good jeep, and make it unsafe! Help!

Ok. Thanks. Anyone else have opinions? Although, I think I agree that it will be fine.

JKS has some rear coil spring retainers for $30 if you need some peace of mind.

Brake lines should also be fine with that amount of lift.

It is slightly possible to over extend the rear brake lines if there not longer and to pop or spit out a rear spring. I have only due it with a shock missing.
