That's relative, a driveshaft is a driveshaft. Get a double carden shaft with replacement yokes and good u-joints such as spicer.
Well, I plan on replacing soon as I have heard some rattling now that its been brought to my attention. Is it better to just remove it and avoid it coming loose and causing chaos?

So, its a front DS, yokes, and u-joints? All those parts? So over $700 for parts I'm sure...

You can get a complete front drive shaft that comes with everything you need for less than $450. Give David a call at Northridge.

I only have about 32k on my jeep, kinda bummed my DS went already.... I'm guessing that it's highly unlikely that the DS will fail again with the new one considering it is better quality? Don't wanna find out down the road another 30-40k I gotta replace it again.

Whats the downside to running without the front for the time being? Or, a blown DS for that matter?
