Here is a pic of the TrailMods flares. Very similar look and has marker light as well.

Bob, those look sweet. What is the cost of those, and do you gain additional tire clearance with them?

good eye and yes, there would be no way to do this without catching the marker lights. i've talked to the senior designer for the mopar underground and he basically told me that they have the means to pretty much make what they want and don't have to chop anything to get it.

I made a huge order from Quadratec (Been saving for 2 years)... Also ordered the TRAILMODS flares ... Dunno if I will install them. I gotta inspect them first.
Heard / read a lot of negative stuff about them (flimsy, poor quality and bad fit) . I figured if I opt not to install them I'll find a buyer.

Anyway ... I'd much rather achieve the look I want with the OEM flares ... They're by far sturdier.
I do not like cutting the side "lip" of the stock flares . (no offense to others here) ... I just wanna reduce the "dumbo ears" look of the flares that protrude past the body.

You definitely gain additional tire clearance with these flares. Not only that but the outer flares are removable which will leave a nice 3" inner flare which gives you all the clearance you need. here are a couple pics.

Let me know what you think of the TrailMods flares when they come in. We have made some adjustments since the first batch went out that has corrected all of the fitment issues. Now they should install super easy and are very durable and sturdy.

Also, if you remember where you heard and read bad reviews of the flares I would love to contact them and see if there is anything I can do to make sure that they have a good experience with us. Thanks man!

I chopped mine to look like that and gained lots of tire clearance. The rears are plenty sturdy but fronts are a little bit floppy since they're no longer connected to the undercarriage support. Although a plastic rivet or two would do the trick.
