there you go.
or you could even add a flush mount surface outlets if you wanted to get fancy/ even with your air hose connectors using connectors of this sort mounted in a weather proof outlet box or housing.
re photo : are those # 6 copper looks heavy duty?

Well just got the delivery on the air armor 240
first impression is pretty high quality kit . I know its not the ultimate compressor out , however it looks really nice and most likely it work well for the amount of use ill give it. And the price was perfect for what i was willing to spend . Ill do like ronjenx did and eliminate having to open the hood every time you need to use it.
it seems logical and a good idea. The hose is very pliable and long instead of the coil type. that seem to fail pretty quickly in cold temps
prob will attach a jerry can tray to the passenger side of the rear of my 2 door over the wheel well seeing i dont carry a rear seat, so it wont bounce around . Or bolt with a wingnut on inside of can to the tub rail.

I am planning to add a compressor to my daughters jeep and I was thinking the Harbor Freight one mounted upside down inside of the tire carrier. She already has the MORryde hinge and support set up on hers and it looks like a good spot semi out of the elements. Here is the carrier we will be adding this year as she is going to 37's.
Heavy Duty JK Spare Tire Carrier | Retrofit Offroad
The pump should fit perfect inside of it. I already have a 2G wire running to the rear seat as there is an amp for the stereo. It has a distribution block so I could easily run a 4G wire to the gate to power the compressor. At $49 even if it was replaced every couple of years it would be no big loss.
