Default POP--WHOOSH---OUCH!!! lol

Hit the trails today...great day, great ride...then this:




Here's the culprit...front tire hit it and split a long point chunk off. Had no idea, until it hit the rear tire.



Turned a nice trip into a $400 ride! lol luckily i carry a full spare...sadly I've got less than 10K miles on the tires!

Gotta pay to play i guess! lol

They sure could'nt about 8 years ago when I bought a set. And their customer service is garbage, do not even start to stand behind their product! I vowed then to never by another thing from yokohama!

At least yours was a natural piece, it suck none the less. Mine was a pile of bottles on the other side of a rock. Good thing you had a spare.

I mean the tires have a warranty against defects...but not against damage from off-roading. Are there actual tire companys that cover blatent trail damage???

Why tell them it was off-road when you can say it happened on-road?
