as much of a fan of poison spider as i am, their products are not that top notch, I had my YJ outfitted with everything avaliable for the YJ's from them.

they've been bashed numerous times on the fit of their tj tube fenders,

again, this is not a bash, they have had issues like most other manufacturers out there, but they need to get on the ball and come out with a quality product

perfect example is the RE long arm, it came out right when the tj's came out, and was the only long arm kit for years, now the market is flooded with long arm kits

it is bad business, they are loosing precious customers!!!

 

Yeah and it's really great for business when a company comes out with a product or should I say has developed a product and makes you wait 2 months before you get it after taking your money. I can name quite a few companies that are having this such problem.

I hardly doubt it will be 8 months before Clifton and the boys at Spyder Customs comes out with the JK stuff. However you need to understand they are not Wrangler aftermarket whores like allot of other comapnies. When the JK line comes out I'm sure it will be something that isn't close to what everybody else has and will be worth the wait.

Also they are not loosing anything by not coming out with anything yet. The JK will be around for quite some time and the customers will be there for quite some time. All this stuff that has just come out to satify people will end up getting replaced when bigger and better things come out. It happened with the TJ just like it will happen with the JK.

I don't believe this is true, I bought my 97 TJ used in spring of 99 and the only RE kits at that time were standard arms! I know because I bought the most expensive thing they had at the time and I think it was a while after that even before the LA kit...

But as for Poison Spyder, I do think over a year from initial release of the JK for rockers/bumpers etc is a LONG time. They'll still sell a bunch, but they are also loosing out on a bunch now too.

 

i'm required to wait, at least another year. so you PSC guys take your time, do it right.

 

i'm in the 'have to wait another year' boat too. I would like to see some design pics or atleast some sketches and prototype and in shop pics of what will be coming out, it may secure more customers if they know what will be coming out

 

No do you really think a shop would actually do that so someone could copy it?
