I got the PSC winch/fairlead mounting bracket and used that after I bedlined it.

I cut, primed, bedlined, and painted an aluminum panel with sunburst orange, aerosol touch-up paint, and Duplicolor clear-coat. I secured the panel using 3M Scotch-mount Molding Tape. here is a picture of the plate in its various stages of completion.
I think I like the idea of using 3M Scotch Mount Molding Tape. I talked to a couple other guys who did basically the same thing but used a dab of JB Weld on each corner of the plate. Your method would make removal easier when a touch up is necessary.

You'll only need it along the left and right edges. The top and bottom edges are pretty close to the spyder. If you run across the top and bottom edges, then you's be able to see the tape. Trust me, this I know from experience. Here is a picture of the backside of the bumper's spyder section. you can see what I mean. I also believe that not having any tape along the bottom will improve draining in the event of water infiltration through the spyder, which will most certainly occur.

I am definitely going to use this method.

Did you cut off your crash bar? Looks like it isn't there in the picture.

Mine is still hanging out under my psc brawler lite. Thinking about cutting it off. Have not really looked it over. You think it could be done with a sawzall with metal blade?
