Default Just tried my new plow

Heres a picture of my X with the Snoway 22 plow on it. Not much snow to plow, but it worked great. I will be adding Timbren spring helpers to keep the front from sagging.

Fisher makes a plastic snow plow for the Jeep JK. It's the homesteader. Very, very light. It won't weigh the front down much at all... no need for helpers or changing to winter tires. Down side is they are not cheap and almost impossible to find used. If you do find a used homesteader... don't worry about what it came off of... you can get the new mounting brackets for the Jeep anywhere.

dont think the new plow mounts for the jk's were designed for lifts, thus probably wont work with a lift. same concept of why you dont see trucks with lifts with a plow

Not ture for all lifts. Yes a big lift say 6+inch its hard to get the plow right but and can be done.
As for a 2 or 3inch lift with a Boss plow you can lowere the main bar to the needed point and still plow just the same.

We have mounted plows on 6inch+ lifted truck but it more money than most would want to spend since you need to fab everything.

That other thing about putting a plow on a lifted Jeep or truck is that it kills the whole point of lifting the truck because you end up with a very low bar right under the front bumper.

The mount on the truck itself always stays on the truck, and that is the low part.
