play in steering?
after lifting my jk i find that there is lots of play in the steering by this i mean i can move the wheel quite a bit before the wheels turn.
I have done a search and cant find anything, im sure this has been asked a million times and im just not understanding or using the right terminology. is this the caster being wrong, steering stabilizer, track bar ??
i dont believe that it is due to anything being broken it is simply because i have a very simple lift.
Thanks !

if you added the 35" km2s at the same time as your suspension upgrade. triple check that you have about an 1/8" of "toe in" and this will def make your steering a night and day difference...

Back from the dead thread!
In the end i dont know what changed. i switched tires, changed caster, changes steering stabiliers, new alignment done, re bolted my track bar, added a body lift. and the problem was gone. not sure which one did it as it was all done at once.
I have learnt that the jk do have some play in the steering naturally. i know that does not help, sorry.

Thanks, I went through and torqued everything back down after putting about 200 miles on the Jeep, and now everything feels a lot better! I think it took care of any issues I was having!
