Default Plasti Dip wheels

Any body had any luck with plasti dip on wheels and or grille. I have been thinking about doing this for a while and was wondering how it comes out.

I'd bet about 10,000 people on this forum have plastic dipped something on their JK's. It's a great product.
Just use the search.

Did my grill a few months back. Turned out pretty good. Eventually I'll get it Line-X.

I dipped my wheels leaving the rim and center cap silver. Haven't had it on long (only about a week) but they're holding up very well. Great mod for $20.

I plasti dipped my AEV Pintlers. It only took me 2 hours tops, and only used 2 cans. I left the wheels on and just stuffed a plastic trash bag behind to cover up the brakes. Make sure you do light coats. I ended up doing 5 coats, it drys pretty fast. And it looks good so far!

I plasti dipped my wheels as well, the are holding up really well. I only did 3 coats so in some areas so you can see the silver peeking through haha. I suggest about 5 light coats. Make sure you never spray a lot of it in one area or it will dry really thick and just look wet all the time.
