By the way nice user name. My sister graduated from there. ROLL TIDE.

Hopefully I can help you out.. I went plasti dipped crazy.

I did my mirrors, grill, gas cover and tail light guards which were all chrome. My hinges, mountain decal and my wheels. I love the look

Then I peeled off my wheels and did this look. It's great stuff. Just make sure you do 5 costs if you choose

Looks awesome! I've thought about doing my hood also. I love the rims. Pointers in both?

Clean well with soap/water and rubbing alcohol and get blue painters tape. Mask very well, and spray what you want to spray. While the plastidip is literally "soaking" wet take the masking tape off. If you wait, like ordinary paint, the plasti dip will stick to the tape and peel up causing a terrible edge. Or you could use a razor and cut the line..I stayed away from that method because I didn't want to scratch my paint under.

De-natured alcohol is great for prep. Gets the rims wicked clean before applying the plastidip.

This stuff is def great. I even used clear Plasti dip on my dune buggy tub, to protect it from people dragging their feet on the paint
