I used some extra lug nuts and just sit them in there while I painted and before it dried I pulled them out so it basically masked the seat of the nuts off.

plastic dipped my wheels yesterday....looks great so far! No problems with putting them back on too. This is the most forgiving spray paint and I hardly put any prep...we'll see how long it last.
I first did a latch on my tire carrier which has held up great for the past few months.

I'll most likely plastidip my grill and other parts soon!

Did mine today. I put nickels in the lug nut holes when I sprayed mine.

Great advice. I'll give it another shot with the nickels in place.

I'm also thinking about adding a few layers of the Plasti Dip "Glossifier" spray.

Had anyone tried that? Pics?

Ok. Gave it another shot. Sprayed it without taking off the wheels. We'll see how long it lasts!
