Just did mine last night. I'll get pics. Not happy with the finish. It is more of a sandpaper texture on most. However I have done more reading and the issue seems to be 2 fold. 1 I sprayed from too far back (12-15 inched where seems the best result is 6-10 per the internets), and 2nd, It was in direct sunlight in florida and the rims were hot. That apparently did not allow the plasti to self settle and dried too quick resulting in the sandpaper finish. I am going to do the spare in the garage on a tarp this week and see if I can get a smoother finish. If so i'll prob begin 1 by 1 peeling off the stuff and redoing.
Also many do it on their car. I did not want to risk over-spray etc so I took them all off which made it easier.

I did my wife's Cadillac CTS wheels this weekend. I like it alot except for one thing. The wheel lip where it meets the tire looks a little ragged from the peel and shows the original gray color. I really don't know any way around that though. One of those things that drives me crazy to look at!

Did all five stock wheels over the weekend. Very happy with the results. I took the wheels off, wedged thin cardboard (cereal box) around the lip of the wheel and sprayed a few coats. When I was putting one of the wheels back on, the lug caught the plastidip and started to pull it off - so I just carefully of the loose piece, taped off the lug, and resprayed the section while it was still mounted.
As a side note, I can now also confirm that the plastidip will simply peel right off when/if you want to remove it. I love this stuff.

I am going on some tight trails next weekend and am worried about getting a lot of scratches. It is be raining, so I won't take doors off. Will plasti dip protect paint against scratches? Then peel it off when we are done?
