Planning on regearing? You may want to read

I have a 2012 sport with 3.21s 6speed I plan on running 33s And am going to re gear to 4.10s, my question is, is it worth it to sleeve and gusset the axles? The jeep is 90% street and mainly beach offroading....maybe a trip or two to rausch every year

3.21 gears are absolutely horrible. Its well worth it.

I have a '12 JK Sport, 6 spd manual, and everything is stock. I want to put 33's on it for now until the warranty is over in 5 years, which at that point I will bump up to 35's. After reading all these posts it sounds like no one really cares about their RPMs being close to 3K. I run the interstate quite often, but not for extended periods of time. I would not be too happy driving 70-75 mph at about 3K rpms. Especially if I'm on the interstate for an extended period. If I don't regear and put 33's on my JK, what should I expect to lose/gain from my performance (mpg, rpms at 70 mph, shifting)?

Guys I have been running 35" tires and 5:13 gears, with a hypertech tunner, and auto tranny for some time. at 70MPH my RPM's are around 2400. at 80MPH my RPM'S are around 2650. At 95 to 100 the rpm's are around 2900 to 3000. I have ran these speeds multiple times. for extended period of time, in different terrain. 100 is not recommended in a lifted jeep. I'm not sure why these guys are seeing over 3k RPM'S. I am running in overdrive I might add.

I have 35's with 3.21's and an auto on a 2012..... I rarely hit 3000 rpm... Drives like a dream. I doubt I would even regear with 37's...... We will see in the future.
I still have an awesome passing gear and it out performs other semi-stock rigs in my club.

I wouldn't really push to hard to regear if I was mall crawling though. It goes from point A to B perfect. Just not so much through thick ass mud without switching to 4 low.
