They don't seem to be that much heavier (if at all) than others...even my 285/75/16 Firestone's weigh in at 60lbs apiece...given those are wider, doesn't seem that unreasonable for the weight...maybe I'm wrong.

First off, let me say that I admire you. I admire you because most of the time when anybody posts a question about an item, they NEVE post a link or a picture. You did. Thanks. All I see on that site are bias ply tires. Is that all they have available? If you're gonna be doin any street drivin, I don't know.....

They just started making some radials, but are known for bias tires. I have seen them on a couple of the local jeeps, but I think that is because they are made somewhere up around St. Louis and there are some good deals to be had on them.
I don't think they are as popular as Swamper TSL's, but they seem to be pretty good tires. I'd love to try out a set or Rockers for offroad tires, but if I ever end up sith PitBulls it will probably be the Growlers, which they call an All Terrain tire, but they look more like a MT to me. The only downside I can see to the Growlers is that they are directional, so a five tire rotation goes out the window.
