Default Pinch Seam in front? Do I need to mess with it??

My 35's are on order and should be here in a week or 2. So I got bored today and decided to take the rear pinch seams off. I looked at the front and I see the pinch seams but they are small and nowhere near the tires at the moment. At what point do you need to worry about these?

Here are some pics of todays work.

Just wait until you get the tires on, flex it out and check it out. I went with 37's and didn't have to trim either.

I just put on 315s a couple weeks ago. Had to trim the back pinch seam. The front is no where near the tire.

You will not need to worry about fronts until your in the 40" tire and Low COG game..

Well I'm only going to 35 at the moment so I guess I won't have to worry about trimming the front then.

Thanks Chris

Johnathan,

I did the same cut and used JB Weld as well... kind of scary since our Jeeps are the same color too!! I have 35's and didn't have to do anything with the front except I did trim the factory skid.

Lookin real good. I still think your snorkel is the best looking set up I've seen. Makes me think that's the way to go over a "cai".
What tires did ya get in 35s?
