Default pinch clearance

Wondering how much lift is needed to run 37's without having to trim or bend the pinch seams?

Would the 4.5" AEV kit provide enough clearance?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times already, and I promise I did try and search for an answer before asking here

I trimmed them on my old JKU and the dealership gave me a hard time about it when i traded it in, so I'd like to avoid doing so if possible this time around.

Thanks

I am running 37" MTZ on my 2007 JKU which is equipped with a 4.5" AEV lift. I trimmed the rocker rails and just a little corner of the pinch. I found that I rubbed just a little that is why I did it. I suppose you could extend the bump stops so that would not happen then you would not have to trim.

I'm sure if you made a really clean cut then used some touch up paint they would even notice.

Also, I think that the added security of knowing you are not going to slice up an expensive 37" tire is higher than the dealer not liking a small cut they can't really see.
