Installed the Opar A pillar switch pod and after pulling the switch covers to sharpie the leds for a little dimming I'm pretty satisfied so now it's time to wire it properly, when key is on and light power feeding direct thru relays. I picked up adapter pictured below to tap into acc power off fuse panel and have read some threads but wondering if anyone has a better place or input. I left out allot on my build so I should have some options possibly open- no Bluetooth or TMPS's. BTW I have a 2016 model..

Looks similar to my switchpod as well. I just have all my lights wired directly to the battery. As long as I only use them when the jeep is running it shouldn't be too big of a problem, especially after i switch all my lights to the low draw LED's.

Oh I didn't realize what you meant. Mine's not necessarily lit 24/7, but it could be if I flipped the switch on and left it. All my switches are wired directly to battery, but I can flip the switch itself on and off...

I wired mine to be in with headlights as well as being dimmable with the interior lights. The only light that is on whenever is when it's flipped. For the dimmable lights I tapped into the interior dim wire and for the constant on I tapped to cigarette lighter. For the dimmable wire it's easiest to tap in in the driver footwell in towards the center console. Locate a wire bundle and for my 07 jk the wire was the orange one with a grey stripe. For the cigarette one you have to disassemble the dash and tap into the purple one. And this is all for the led switches no lights for right now I just use in cab winch control on my pod. Cheers, Tilly

I'm trying to tie into fuse box direct but I'm measuring and everything is hot with key out? I'm even getting voltage on all 3 power outlets at fuse. One of them, acc (m6) should be key only, geez... lol.

not perfect but for 20 bucks worth it. Cutouts are a bitch even with a brand new blade. Dremel tool would be ideal.
