Pics of pinch seam trim jobs
I searched and came up with very little. I know there are a few options.....cut, bend, fold, etc....I would love to see a couple different pics...it looks pretty obvious what to cut, but visuals are always a better way for me to learn. I am sawzall happy after my bumper job last night.

no pics of mine but I cut a notch (well a friend did :p) and then folded it over. The paint flaked, the cut was exposed but I used some touch up paint on it and now it looks great!
I dunno why they did it the way they did, it just doesn't look like the way it comes stock

I know some people think cutting it removes some structural integrity of the seam, but I think its likely negligible. I can always run a weld down the cut if I felt it was necessary. Thanks for the pics Rubimon. That is the way I will do it....at least for now.

Thanks for the question and the pics.
Should I stay clear of cutting into the area that isn't "pinched" together? The area just right of the saw in the above pic.
Gotta do this soon!

You can if you want, it is filled with foam. I painted over it. I might have even siliconed it first for good measure.
