37" toyo mud terrain so pretty heavy.
The trail they ran is all rock ledges and it was very muddy so lots of sliding. I'm guessing he bounced the tire off the ground on done of the steep climbs. He's had the bumper for a while so it's not like it was new and this happened. Most likely just a lot of abuse that led to it
The reason I asked was because rugged ridge does advertise the tire carrier to only hold a 35" tire.i know plenty of people running it with a 37 but this was my fear of adding a 37 to that tire carrier. Still, surprised. The carrier looks like it is built pretty tough

So I went for it and bought and installed the Rugged Ridge XHD bumper and carrier even though I'm running Bushwackers. Honestly...I think it looks great! I actually prefer this bumper with flats vs stock fenders. I'll see how the full bumper fares on the trails this Friday. If need be, I'll take a few inches off to line up with the fender inner liner.
